Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding) Crashes Wrong Reunion Show
Jimmy Fallon likes to bring together '90s high school sitcom casts. When he failed to reunite the students of Bayside High from 'Saved by the Bell,' he held a reunion for the next best thing -- the cast of 'California Dreams.'
Only there was an unexpected guest. Bayside High principal Mr. Belding -- played by Dennis Haskins -- showed up while Fallon was introducing the actors. "Dennis, you weren't in 'California Dreams,'" Jimmy tells Haskins. "Oh no no, I was. Don't you remember my catch phrase? Hey, hey, hey, what is going on here, California Dreams?" he replied. "Sorry, Dennis," Fallon said. "Ah, it was worth a shot, see you guys!" Haskins signed off. This isn't the first time the 'Late Night' host brought back 'Saved by the Bell' characters. Mark Paul Gosselaar appeared as a guest entirely in his Zach Morris character.
