I have two favorite Nick at Nite shows and they are: "The Brady Bunch" and "Three's Company". Another Nick at Nite show that I like is "The Jeffersons". Regardless that N@N airs some of my favorites, I don't watch Nick at Nite anymore. I am fed it up with that channel. I can't wait for "Three's Company" fandemonium on TV Land.

Cheers and All in the Family. Three's Company is close behind. Too bad that Nick at Nite still doesn't show Gilligan's Island , Beverly Hillbilliies and Laverne & Shirley. Is their schedule set to change soon

Cheers is my favorite N@N show, the runner-up being All in the Family.
I'm a "senior member" with only ten posts? Wow, that didn't take long. |

Noticed you are in Mass. Is Cheers currently running on a channel out of Boston? As big as that market is I'll be surprised if its not and considering the fact that Cheers is based in Boston, I would be double shocked if it wasnt airing there someplace. I believe there should be some space when a show goes from one network to another. Cosby Show is a perfect example. It was recently on TBS and now its coming to Nick at Nite. Same exact thing with Roseanne. Nevermind the fact that many FOX and UPN stations continue to air Roseanne. Shows like Mama's Family and I love Lucy even Good Times I can see on TBS and TV Land and these shows arent reruned all that much Nothing against neither Roseanne or Cosby but there should be at least a year or two gap bewteen the time a sitcom leaves TBS before it goes to Nick or TV Land. A cooling off period. But that wont happen as long as the networks continue to own other and networks and use consultants in deciding what shows to air based on silly demographics. |
