Default Who's doing it better?

With WGN and TV Land both now airing Bewitched, who's treating it better in terms of editing? Who is doing a better job?

I don't get WGN America, but do they at least show the closing credits? TV Land rips them out and uses a 'ticker' in the corner of the screen on most shows with the credits re-typed; however, they are currently showing the closing credits in their full glory. Won't last long, though.

I'm aware of the DVD's, I was trying to compare the two networks' treatment of the shows.

Default Yes, WGN America DOES feature the closing credits, 'clj'...

...but the picture is reduced slightly, and framed within a "screensaver", with the channel's logo and "******** Next" on the bottom (occasionally, they'll show a full screen). Which is more than I can say for what's in store for those same repeats on "TV Land"; the "ticker" credits are the ones that'll be "permanently" used, within the last 30 seconds of the final scene, so they can immediately begin the next program on the schedule. That's why I give WGN the advantage as far as "over-the-air" repeats are concerned [however, they don't carry the first two black and white seasons]. ANYONE can buy the DVD's and see the episodes "unedited" with complete credits...

Exactly!!! I don't have cable so I can't vouch for either station. When I AM at the house of someone who does have cable, reruns are totally butchered to make room for more precious commercials - topped with squeezed credits and those pop-up type promos. ENOUGH!!

Do they show the "S from Hell" Screen Gems and Sony endings intact? I know TV Land always squeezed the credits on BW from 2003-2005, but they always showed those full screen.

Default On WGN...

...the Screen Gems logo is seen at the end (sometimes in "reconstituted" form- that is, taken from a different episode and added to the current one). I don't know how "TV Land" does it, but if it's those "ticker" credits, the logo probably appears in the same small space at the end....which is why I don't bother with those.
