The wife's name was Kathy. They were going through a divorce I believe.
What happened was that she was getting ready to go out on a date when her ex-husband was watching the kids. The husband and his wife had spontaneous sex before she went out. She then still went out with this guy on a date (who was cleared by the way) and was never seen again. Her body was found a few football lengths away from her husband's house. The thing that stuck out in my mind was the cop that arrived at the house asking the husband if he knew where Kathy was. According to the cop he said the husband looked over to the area where Kathy's body was found before answering. The husband is the prime suspect. Okay, I know I haven't seen it in a while but I never got the feeling that the husband was guilty. The circumstantial evidence went against him but I would love to have seen the segment again to figure out why I thought he was innocent. What is the name of it? Also, I know this one got solved but the name of the segment of the boy that drops a girl off at a gas station only to have two male friends of her pick her up. The guy passed the polygraph two or three times yet was STILL guilty of killing her. I believe that was solved. What name was that? Thanks |

Yes, it was Kathy and Steve Page. Steve Page has never been charged criminally in the case although Kathy's family filed a wrongful death civil suit against him. The first two trials resulted in hung jury's but in the third trial he was found liable for his ex-wife's death and ordered to pay an undisclosed sum.
