family ties i liked the older ones the best.

Good topic!

Definitely for me would be Seinfeld. I guess at that point, the characters were more established and so forth.
Another would be Monk, although I kind of have mixed feelings about this. It definitely got better as the seasons went on. It ran for 8, and my favorite season of all is 5.

WKRP In Cincinnati
M*A*S*H

So I definitely prefer the older shows!
