Does anyone know if BB is retiring at the end of this season or is he going to fill out his 5 year contract with CBS? Because on CBS's official webpage for it, it said he has no plans to retire and he thinks he does not want to. Since when has he wanted to retire? Also, if he's retiring, will he be replaced or will it continue on CBS in reruns (like Mr. Rogers on PBS)?

I know I either read or heard it on tv not too long ago that he was going to retire soon. It seems like they said by the end of the season. I wish I could remember exactly where I came across this information...

In a word, no. He is not. Early reports were that he was. But, he now says he plans to fulfil his five-year contract that ends in like 2005 or 2006.

It was just a false rumor about Bob Barker retiring. It's not true at all. He's stated he will fill out his 6 year contract with CBS!!!!!!!!!

Actually, it was a standard five-year contract, with the normal clauses allowing him or CBS to back out after every year.
