Default JamesG, The Takers Got Pushed Back To May 14th

I was disappointed when i read that it got pushed back to May 14th. The Takers is the movie i was telling you about with Paul Walker, Idris Elba, rapper T.I., r&b singer Chris Brown, Zoe Saldana, Matt Dillon, Michael Ealy.

This one actually has a pretty decent cast... I'll be checking it out.

JamesG, i just saw on Wu Tang Clan's website that The Takers got pushed back again to August 20th. Why is this movie getting pushed back often? I'm upset about this because i was gonna see it next month.

From what I was able to find out, Takers got pushed back to August to coincide with rapper T.I.'s new album.

Is there a reason you guys don't pm this? I'm not picking a fight, honestly, I'm just asking.

He's asking me a question. I don't see what the big deal is.

We're not the only ones who do this, for example in the Sports forum PhilaEaglesHater made a thread "Sonny and Brian, since is no longer on the Eagles, what NFC team do you think FATSO"

When you get to know certain members you ask them things you know they might have the answers for, for a discussion.

I don't think it's a big deal myself. Everyone is welcome to post in any thread. It's just a silly thing that some members do. It's not done to alienate anyone.

I'm not saying it's a big deal - not at all. And I know the sports page does it a lot. And of course when you know people, you ask them questions - I've been on here since 2001 and I've done it many times - but when I have something that's directed at just one person, I PM them, so as not to clog up space on the public boards. But that's just my humble opinion.

I thought it was some sort of deal since this is the second time you've brought this up to us and I thought it was cleared the last time.

I mean, if you or anyone else has the answer to what he's asking then answer them. I don't care if anyone decides to do that.

Actually the last time was only about one thread - sorry, but when I saw 4 threads all directed at one person I thought it was getting a little carried away. That's all.

I saw previews again yesterday for The Takers when i saw Death At A Funeral. It really sucks that this movie isn't coming out until August. JamesG, what makes you think the movie got pushed back because of T.I.'s upcoming album?

From the info. I have read about the movie, T.I. is one of the producers and I believe some sort of deal was made with him and Screen Gems to release the movie around the time of his new record.
