Default Who Thinks Bea/Dorothy look prettier on The Gilden Girls then on Maude

I have to say, I found Bea more Beautiful on The Golden Girls(Especially in later Seasons)then in Maude. Although She had her moments on Maude, Especially in Season 5 and 6. Who agree?

I think they both looked better on GG than Maude. It's amazing what plastic surgery will do. Although, if you look past the salt & pepper hair on Maude, you can see that her face was actually more naturally younger looking. This is especially true when you see the close-up shots of Maude. On GG, Dorothy was soooo made up it wasn't funny, but the face was showing major signs of aging despite the facelifts.

Rue looked hideous on her first appearance of Maude, but then they made her look much better in later episodes when they decided to make her a regular cast member. She had that free-spirited swinging '70s look.

I think Bea Arthur looks like two totally different people on Maude and The Golden Girls. Besides the voice, it looks like two different women. Maybe Maude didn't have good makeup people? On The Golden Girls she looked good.

Rue looks a lot different too. If you noticed in her early Maude appearances, I think they tried to make her look older or something because as the years went on, she looked a little more like herself.

As for plastic surgery....I don't know. Rue I don't believe had any. Bea, I don't think so either.

Dorothy and Blanche both looked better in the mid-later seasons. I thought they looked older during the earlier episodes.

I do. Those godawful caftans and pantsuits that Bea had to wear as Maude were all the rage in the 70s - and thank goodness they were out of style by the time GG came on.

Then how do you explain the caftan and pantsuit collection in your closet?

I never wore them - but I've seen old family photos of female relatives wearing them! I'd never wear anything like that - or muumuus!!

I liked bea's hair on the Golden Girls. Especially seasons 1,2,3 it was nice and short, then she let it grow out. I didn't like her hair in the last couple of seasons. Just my opion.

I have yet to see Bea on Maude but from what i've seen in pictures from the time she was on Maude. I'd say she looked better on GG in later seasons, as she got older she looked better.
