Does anyone else think it is strange that Edna Skinner (Kay Addison) was introduced in the closing credits while the rest of the regular cast was introduced in the opening credits! I wonder why they did it that way.

...only Alan Young, Connie Hines and Larry Keating got "top billing" in the opening credits during the first three seasons [Keating, probably because he previously appeared on "THE GEORGE BURNS AND GRACIE ALLEN SHOW", and executive producer Burns, knowing his value as a co-star, promised him that billing, I believe]. Edna Skinner, however, was not considered a major "co-star", so she got credit at the end of the show. After the departure of Keating [tragically, from cancer] and Skinner [knowing if Larry wasn't around, there wasn't any reason for her to be, either, so she quietly left] in 1963, only Alan and Connie got "top billing", even after Leon Ames and Florence MacMichael joined the cast in mid-season, staying through 1965.
