Hey, I just got to wondering. When it comes to watching TV Shows on DVD do you go by a schedule like they do on TV? Or do you just watch it when ever you decide?
If you go by a schedule what time do you watch each show and what episode? Do you also, go by the schedule of the same show on TV or do your own schedule? For instences today I did. 2:00PM - Reba - Pilot 2:30PM - Reba - After The Honeymoon 3:00PM - I Love Lucy - The Ricardos Change Apartments 3:30PM - I Love Lucy - Lucy Is Matchmaker 4:00PM - The Lucy Show - Lucy Waits Up For Chris 4:30PM - The Lucy Show - Lucy Digs Up a Date I watch the episodes of each show in airdate order. What is your schedule? Do you fallow the schedule on tv or make up your own? Do you watch them in order or do you mix up the episodes? Please let me know. Thanks. |

I really appreciate this question, for one it shows I am not alone.....I have extremely limited time, but I like to watch my DVD's (mainly sitcoms) at about the same time when I did when I was a child.....of course I'm 47 and went through alot of tv schedules while growing up.......so I have plenty of summers to remember.......I usually watch about 4 series at a time....meaning if it is a saturday morning, I'll watch the shows that used to be on at 8:30AM, 9:00AM, etc.....or if it is 4:00, I'm currently watch Room 222, because that is the time when I used to watch it.....I keep a small piece of paper in each dvd, so I know if a month goes by, I remember where I left off.......enjoy!

I use my TV DVDs as a filler for when I'm not watching current shows, so I don't go by a schedule. It's more like, I have a free hour here or there so I'll watch a DVD.
Regarding episode order, I'm not one who will buy an entire series for completion if I don't like certain seasons but I always watch the seasons I have in order. I also watch seasons in their entirety before I start a different season or show. |
