Chynna Phillips of the pop group Wilson Phillips checked herself into rehab for anxiety over the weekend, her manager, Lizzie Grubman, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Phillips is the half-sister of Mackenzie Phillips, whose claims last fall about a sexual relationship with their father put the family into crisis.

"After much thoughtful deliberation Chynna Phillips has checked herself into an undisclosed treatment facility for anxiety," Grubman says in a statement. "With the full support of her family and friends, she is looking forward to her recovery. We ask that people respect her and her family's privacy at this time."

Phillips, 42, is married to Gossip Girl star Billy Baldwin, and they have three children.

Poor Chynna - I love her music, especially with the new Christian group, Chynna & Vaughan. As a fellow anxiety sufferer, I know what she must be going through. God bless Chynna and her family - I will be praying for them.

Not only has Chynna dealt with the fall-out of her sister Mackenzie's revelations about their dad, but she's also had to put up with her brother-in-law Alec's tirades. No wonder she's struggling with anxiety! Poor girl.

Between her own family and her husbands family Chynna has had a lot to deal with lately. I wish her all the best in her recovery.

Singer/songwriter Chynna Phillips has been released from rehab after completing a treatment program for anxiety.

The former Wilson Phillips star, who is married to actor Billy Baldwin, checked into an unnamed facility on her 42nd birthday to help deal with personal issues.

She was released on Friday after two weeks of treatment so she could be home in time to celebrate her daughter Jamieson's 10th birthday.

Phillips' manager, Lizzie Grubman, tells People.com, "After successfully completing her in-patient treatment for anxiety, Chynna Phillips has happily returned home to celebrate her daughter's birthday with her family and close friends. She's happy to be home with her family.

Rehab was a positive experience for her. She's doing really well. She is in great spirits.

"Jamieson is having a slumber party with her friends to celebrate her birthday. Chynna is excited to be back with her kids and to celebrate her oldest child's birthday."
