Default What happened to John and Linda Sohus?

The couple who went missing in 1985. John's mother was someone who acted very strange in that case saying they went on a special "Mission". There were mysterious things that happened. A postcard from France, that houseguest of theirs that went missing, all kinds of things. Not to mention the bones found in their backyard 9 years later

Long story that I don't remember all of, but here is a link to a story involving the man they believe may be responsible.

Its very simple to me. Christian Gerhardtstreiter, that tenant that rented out their garage or whatever, got involved with an affair with Linda Sohus and they killed John. Linda probably ran off with Gerhardtstreiter to Europe.

I'm just glad they found that bastard.

I agree with this. Knowing what kind of pathological liar Gerhardtstreiter is, I believe he fed Linda a bunch of lies and then ran off with her. He probably killed her in Europe or did away with her somehow, then came back to the states.

Didnt they figure out that he is probably that Rockefeller imposter from up in Boston? This one facinates me because they found that skeleton but I guess they can't indentify the DNA? Anyway, check out this article...

Have they still not made the connection with the Rockefeller/Chichester guy? I mean, the evidence seems overwhelming. Matching fingerprints, matching alias', the striking visual similarities...most law enforcement would kill for that much evidence. Why no grand jury yet?

Good question. I don't know if there was DNA available in the skeletal remains, but if there is, there's certainly familial DNA to compare it to. They believe it to be John Sohus, but I guess they haven't conclusively proven it to be? Seems easy to me.

No, I meant John's DNA. I forgot he was adopted. No wonder they can't positively identify him.
