What A Relief! Jeff Probst Reups to Continue Hosting 'Survivor' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Emmy-winning reality host Jeff Probst will continue hosting CBS' "Survivor" for two more cycles.

Probst announced the agreement Tuesday morning on his Twitter feed, telling fans, "I'll be back snuffing torches for two more seasons."

Probst will also continue to serve as an executive producer on the show through the 2010-11 season.

"Jeff is an amazing creative talent and an integral part of the 'Survivor' team -- both on camera and, equally as important, as a producer," "Survivor" executive producer Mark Burnett said. "For 20 seasons, he has earned the trust of the audience and the respect of 'Survivor's' castaways."

Unlike his previous contract extensions, however, Probst renewed for only one year instead of two ("Survivor" airs twice a year).

The show's 20th installment, "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains," premieres Thursday.

As far as I'm concerned Survivor has gone on too long already.
