These are picks:
"Lucy in the Music World", episode #89. That "Wing Ding" song was annoying, the plot of this episode wasn't quite that interesting, and Mr. Mooney was hardly in it. Oh and lets not forgot this is a fourth season episode. This is probably the most worst episode that Lucy ever produced, IMHO. "Lucy Helps Danny Thomas", episode #92. This episode was just a very poor imitation of the classic I Love Lucy episode: "Lucy Gets In Pictures". Lucy was funny in that unlike this "remake". |

Lucy In The Music World is one of my favourites; a true classic! My least favourite is probably Mooney the Monkey.

Any episode made after Vivian Vance left in which Mr. Mooney yelled at Lucy.

I'd also give another vote to Mooney the Monkey. But there were a lot of others from the later seasons that I wasn't too particularly fond of, Lucy and Paul Winchell I think is one of them.

"Lucy And Viv Open A Restaurant".
There was neither rhyme nor reason to it. If there was ever an example of a "contrived" plot in the series, this was it. The only reason Lucy and Viv get the idea that THEY could operate a restaurant is so that the writers could dress them up in ridiculous costumes, have a subplot for Lucy trying once more to outsmart Mr. Mooney in borrowing money for a frivolous (and unnecessary) venture AND keep him from finding out, and for everyone to react as everything literally falls to pieces at the end. If Desi Arnaz had still been running Desilu, this is one script he would have rejected outright! |

Mooney the Monkey
Easily the dumbest most embarrasing Lucy ever made.. IMHO I liked the Lucy in the music world.. After I saw it, I couldnt get that song out of my head |

Lucy in the Music World is one of the few episodes of the Lucy Show that I loved after Viv left. It captured the essence of Hullaballoo which at the time was huge.

I'm also not fond of "Lucy in the Music World" or the Paul Winchell episode. But for worst episodes, I would have to say: "Lucy, the Rain Goddess"; "Lucy, the Robot"; "Lucy and Bob Crane"; "Lucy and Tennessee Ernie Ford"; and "Lucy and Frankie Avalon." I kind of like that "Lucy and Viv Open a Restaurant" episode, though. It's not my favorite, by any means, but I think it's enjoyable enough.
