I really enjoyed this show! I missed its original run but was lucky enough to catch it in syndication. My husband liked it, too; we've been hoping that some network will put it back on the air. We liked the main cast, but we also got a big kick out of the kids in their care, especially Justin! (I wonder if that kid's still acting?)

I think it's interesting that little Molly is now a sort-of popular actress. I loved American Beauty. I have seen Thora in some gum commercials recently, too.

Oh, yeah! Molly was adorable!! I had no idea she was still acting; if I've seen her in anything recently, I didn't recognize her. I'll have to check her credits. (haven't seen American Beauty)

I'm blanking on Thora, isn't that awful? Which one was she?

Thora Birch is the actress that played Molly on "Day by Day." You probably thought that I was talking about 2 different people. She was in a ton of movies (like "Now and Then" and "Hocus Pocus") growing up, and she was recently in "Ghost World" and "American Beauty" (in the latter, she was Angela, the unhappy daugther to parents Kevin Spacey and Annette Bening). She can recently be spotted in these gum commercials (either Winterfresh or Eclipse, can't think of which one) where she's boredly waiting on a subway and when she sees something (like girls coming out of dance class), she daydreams that she's a cabaret dancer. Interesting commercials.

Yes, I did! I don't trust my memory well enough to be sure that there wasn't a character named Thora. As soon as I went to imdb.com, I saw who she is. She's gorgeous! And I have seen her in a few movies, I just didn't recognize her.
