Former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson will be a contestant on the next season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” reports RadarOnline.com.

I'm happy Pamela's appearing on it....
...but I suspect her reason is, "I need the money, and I have to remind people I'm still around!". She accepted a role in an English "pantomime" presentation of "Aladdin" last December (as "The Genie", who else?) because the promoter offered her a fantastic salary, and she's been having income tax troubles lately. Keep in mind that her E! Entertainment cable series "PAM: GIRL ON THE LOOSE" was not a success, and she desperately needs some kind of successful "vehicle" to keep her image before the general public. We'll see if "DANCING" is her "comeback"....
