Have any of you ever heard of this method of eliminating panic attacks?
It's called the Linden Method and it seems to be highly recommended. I would also be open to any other advice you could give me. http://www.linden-method.com/ |

No, I've never heard of this. I'm always interested in hearing about different ways to cope because I have anxiety problems too, so thanks for sharing.
A little off topic, but I feel like for the past month or so, I've been having a particularly hard time breathing. I literally feel somewhat suffocated through a good portion of the day and in order to breath fully out, I have to force myself to cough a little. It's strange and it's quite a burden, too. I've done the coughing thing for years now, but I've never had this hard of a time breathing constantly. Anyone ever experience anything like that? It's almost to the point where I worry that it's something other than anxiety. Anyway, good luck and let us know how it works if you decide to order it.

I haven't heard of that. I'll check out the link.
I suffer from anxiety, depression, PTSD and insomnia. |

^ I have insomnia, too - but so do a lot of people on my dad's side of the family. I've had it as long as I can remember.

I too had such a period very recently, when it's felt difficult for me to breathe. If you're like me, I think you'll be better again soon. If not, you might want to see a doctor about it. |

I'm so sorry to hear that this is still happening to you. I don't suffer from anxiety. I get moments of sadness, but I think that's based in grief. I do believe that medication is helpful. I take a pill to relax me when I feel overwhelmed with sadness. My prayers are with you, with all of you here who suffer. It's not fair, yet not much seems to be.

Thank you. I have been put of 2 different types of medications which seem to be helping. My goal is to one day beat this problem completely with or without medication and I'm curious about this Linden Method. I may fork out the money and try it. Your thoughts and prayers, however have meant more to me then I could ever express. I'll never forget it.

One thing I miss about insurance is using that to go see a professional therapist to talk to. Cant talk to my friends about my issues and anxieties since they are part of the issues.
