Another Failed Attempt

When Michael Jackson passed away, I started a thread on this very page mentioning that event. The way that I tied it in with this series is that there were at least two episodes of this series in which he was mentioned. Both of the ones that I am thinking of are from the third season. No one replied. A short while later, Walter Cronkite died. Being that he was mentioned in the first season episode called the "Emergency", I started a thread about this event as well. Nobody responded to that one either. Well, I am sure that a lot of you know about another great man who the world lost less than a week ago. The one that I am writing about now is J.D. Salinger. Well, his name was mentioned on a third season episode of that show. Shortly after reading about this reality on the Internet, I thought that it would be a nice gesture to dedicate a thread to his name. In this thread, I did what I could to refresh peoples' memorieis of the halarious things that went on in this episode. As of now, it has eleven views and zero responses. I find it amazing how history repeats itself! I guess that I just need to come to terms with the fact that people have lives outside of responding to my messages! In any event, on my way to this page, I came upon an ad for ringtones pertaining to Michael Jackson. This lets me know that his memory is still very much with us. I wonder if seeing his name twice on this thread will inspire anyone to respond. I guess that I will just have to wait and see!
