Two actresses on two popular, television comedy-fantasies,of the Sixties, portrayed dual roles as good women, and their identical ,but evil, twin sisters.Elizabeth Montgomery portrayed both benevolent blonde,Samantha Stephens, as well as her black-haired evil sister,Serena,on the ,''Bewitched'',television series,on ABC-TV.

The other actress who did the same thing on another comedy-fantasy was Barbara Eden. On NBC-TV,Eden portrayed two sisters, one good and the other one bad,on the,''I Dream Of Jeannie'',television series. Both sisters,in this second case, were named Jeannie. Whenever the bad sister was being referred to,in media references, she would always be described as Jeannie 2.

It was interesting that,in both cases, on both seperate programs, the evil sisters were brunettes. The original nice ladies of both shows, however, were both blondes.

Sincerely,
Reverend Jim..

Actually, Serena was Samantha's identical cousin, not sister.

I've never seen the show but wasn't his character on In the Heat of the night a total racist?

I have to disagree.

Yes, Archie Bunker was misguided and ignorant, but deep down he had a good heart.

You do have a point but I would have categorized him in the not so nice category though. He would the lesser of two evils though.
