Spike is teaming with Thom Beers ("Deadliest Catch") to develop the network's first entry in the late-night genre.

The program will be a "weekly half-hour series that will be a combination of talk and comedy with a focus on "manformation for the true guys' guy" and will have two hosts ... all of which sounds a lot like Comedy Central's "Man Show" without (presumably) the crucial charm-smarm of Adam Corolla and Jimmy Kimmel.

I'm in. I dont think it'll come close to The Man Show, but I'll give anything a chance at least once.
