The spin-off from the Partridge Family that starred Bobby Sherman and a guy called Wes Stern as a couple of song writers? I think it lasted only a year.

I didn't think it was that bad. It could've gotten better with time. They just didn't let it have enough time to find it's feet, so to speak. |

...was on for only a half-season [September 1971-January 1972], because it was in the toughest time period on ABC's schedule that season: Saturday nights at 8pm(et), directly opposite CBS' "ALL IN THE FAMILY", which became the #1 show on TV. And NBC was airing Don Adams' "THE PARTNERS", which lasted about as long as "GETTING TOGETHER".

I remember that the Bobby Sherman character was first introduced on an episode of "THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY".

Every episode of GETTIN' TOGETHER was a song title (WHY DO FOOLS FALL IN LOVE, LOVE ME TENDER, BLUE CHRISTMAS, etc).
