One of my favorite episodes of the whole series is from the third season. The one that I am thinking of is the one in which Jamie and Lisa switch purses. I thought it was halarious! Ever since my pre-teens, I have looked at a lady's purse as one of the many things that made a her attire different than mine and attractive to me. Very much like pantyhose, make-up or 18 Hour Bras. This being that case, an episode that centered around purses was really my cup of tea! By the way, I thought that Jamie and Lisa both looked lovely carrying theirs! In any event, early in the episode, Jamie tried to get Lisa some sort of office job. She printed up a resume that included her having worked as an editor for J.D. Salinger! When Lisa questioned her motivies she said "let them try to prove otherwise"! She was clearly making a joke about how much of a hermit he had become in his later years. In any event, being that he passed away a little over a day ago, I thought it would be appropriate to dedicate a thread in his honor.
