Glee star Jane Lynch is preparing to marry her long-term partner in a same-sex ceremony this spring, according to reports.

The actress, who plays cheer leading coach Sue Sylvester in the musical TV series, will tie the knot with her psychologist girlfriend, Dr. Lara Embry, in May, according to the New York Times' Carpetbagger blog.

Last year, Embry made headlines when she was honored with the National Center For Lesbian Rights' Justice Award in recognition of her triumph in a landmark same-sex custody case in Florida.
