Anyone Else Hate The Song "Happy Birthday To You"? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I can't STAND that annoying song. I hate it when people sing it to me on my birthday and hate hearing it sang to other people too.

I love birthdays, I love being wished a happy birthday, I love celebrating birthdays...but that song is awful. Who decided this was catchy? They need a new one.

In kindergarten, when they sang it to me I hid under the table. I hate the attention focused on me, it's so awkward lol. I don't mind singing it to other people, but when it's me I'm like ahhhh what do I do with my face?

I am more tolerable to it now but when I was younger I would have, like, panic attacks knowing that they would sing it to me or I would have to sing it to someone else. Nice to know I'm not the only one.
