Did anyone else here immediately think of UM when they heard about the "Pizza Bomber" a couple years back? For those who don't remember, here's a link to the wikipedia article on the man involved:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Douglas_Wells When I heard about that, the very first thing I thought of was the segment of UM in which a taxi driver was taken hostage, had what he was told was a bomb put around his neck, and then forced to rob a bank. If I remember right, it turned out it wasn't a bomb, at all, just a box with wires and stuff. I was wondering if the police investigated the possibility that this was perhaps done by the same people (I don't remember where the UM one happened), or at the very least, maybe the people who did it got the idea from this segment....any thoughts? |
