What are the greatest Sitcoms of All Time?
Here is how I rate them:
1. Room 222 (Really a Dramady, but is considered to be a Sitcom by many) 2. Becker (The best pure Sitcom that I have seen) 3. Love American Style 4. Barney Miller 5. Cheers (Only the episodes with Diane) 6. Seinfeld 7. Fraiser 8. Living Single (Only the first 3 years) 9. Martin (First 3 Seasons) 10. Andy Griffith (Only the Episodes with Barney Fife) |

This list is almost random...
I Love Lucy The Honeymooners The Danny Thomas Show The Dick Van Dyke Show The Mary Tyler Moore Show The Beverly Hillbillies Bewitched All In The Family Maude Three's Company in fact it is literally in the order the shows came to mind as I fumbled through my memory index (except Three's Company; it was actually the 6th or 7th show I thought of but got tacked on at the end...I guess because it had a bigger and longer decline than any of the others listed) Ask me tomorrow and it could be a totally different list. Ten is too few and I hate leaving shows I really like off a list of "bests". |
