Question Diet Soda Pop

Has anyone here made the switch from regular pop to diet pop? If so, was it hard for you to adjust?

I did, just short of a year ago. To be honest, it was difficult at first, because I was always a HUGE pop drinker. When I made the decision to eat healthier and lose weight, it was one of the first things to go. I didn't really like drinking diet pop, because to me it tasted strange. I'd only drink a little bit with meals, and that was it. But today, I can barely even taste the difference. It really grew on me, I'm happy to say.

I'm probably gonna hold off being healthy until I'm 50 and it goes straight to my thighs and I can't ignore it anymore.

Nah for real...diet soda has always just been weird to me. It tastes flat and for some strange reason it gives me a headache. The latter is the main reason I avoid it. I don't drink that much soda period now, anyway.

It doesn't really make sense that diet would have so much sugar in it lol. Maybe that's why it gives me a headache.

Most diet drinks contain no sugar but substitutes such as splenda and aspartame and they can be high in sodium.
