The original was made in 1988 and there are 2 sequels.

The remake is due to come out in Feb. 2010 starring Eddie Furlong and Shannon Elizabeth.

I actually am looking forward to seeing this one. It's getting positive feedback from the horror community.

Night of the Demons Has a Release Date?

Seven Arts has spent some time trying to figure out what it wants to do with Adam Gierasch's redo of Night of the Demons. Although it didn't reach theaters last Halloween, it did play to FrightFest audiences in the UK.

Perhaps this party of a film will make it in time for this Halloween?


Dread Central spoke to director Gierasch and he says right now the target date is September 23 and some festivities are being planned to promote the film.

Night of the Demons didn't have a hospital setting it was an abandoned funeral parlor- Hull House.

Crazy New Footage from Night of the Demons Remake

Cinematographer Yaron Levy updated his official website with a new horror reel that features a ton of new footage from Night of the Demons, the forthcoming remake from Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson.

Featuring an all-star horror cast, Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther, Jonathan Beach, Michael Copon, Tiffany Shepis and Edward Furlong, as of right now the R-rated horror flick will hit theaters on September 23rd.



"Angela Feld is throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans, where dark events transpired almost a century ago.

But when the packed party gets busted by the police, Angela and her friends Maddie, Lily, Suzanne, Colin, Dex and Jason are the only ones left behind. Soon Colin and Angela make a grisly discovery in the basement and inexplicable events start to take place.

With the mansion gates mysteriously locked, the seven find themselves trapped for the night...and soon they're fighting ancient demons for their very souls."

DVD, Blu-Ray Date for Night of the Demons Remake

The website for distributor E1 Entertainment has confirmed that Adam Gierasch's remake of Night of the Demons is going to make its DVD and Blu-Ray debut on October 19.



No special features have been announced yet, however, we've heard rumblings that you can expect on-set interviews and footage.

Furthermore, for those in L.A., there may be a special event screening so you can check it out in the theater.

It's Party Time! Night of the Demons Image Gallery

A few new images from Adam Gierasch's reboot of the 80's classic Night of the Demons crept online the other day so we thought it was a perfect time to throw everything we had together for you in one handy image gallery.

Looks like Night of the Demons will finally be released this October after sitting on the shelf for what seems like years.



The Night of the Demons NY premiere screening will take place Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:30pm @ Cinema Village, New York.
