Did anyone else notice that while a lot of episodes in the 2nd season showed Jesse and Joey in their advertising career? Trying to come up with ideas for commercials and making slogans. Once the 3rd season came on, they were still in the advertising buisness but you really didn't see any episodes revolving around their job. Only mabye a scene or 2 during the whole season. I can probably count on one hand all the times their job was acknowledged during the 3rd season, while in the 2nd season it was in nearly every episode. Then in Season 4 they ended up quitting their job but starting their own buisness which only lasted one year. And once again in Season 4, you didn't hear much about their jobs at all. Yet with Danny during the entire season's run you heard a lot of mention of his job. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this, and why do u think this was?

I also noticed that once they became Double J creative services in Season 4, there wasn't many episodes that focused on their jobs. I think it was the season finale of that same season when Jesse decides to devote himself to his music full time, so their business was pretty short lived. And to think poor Danny was the one who invested in it.

The history of Joey and Jesse's jobs and advertising business venture is definitely confusing at times. (It's about as confusing to remember the various rooms the characters had- Jesse obviously moved around a lot, but I think Joey probably moved the most. The girls also got different rooms at different times.)
Anyway- back to the jobs thing- yeah, it's too bad the show didn't really spell out exactly what happened to the Double J Creative Services, but I'm pretty sure it quietly ended as Jesse pursued his music career more and Joey kept working more at his comedy career. Danny must have a pretty huge salary as a news broadcaster because it seems his salary provides for the bulk of the family's budget. With Joey and Jesse and his family living in Danny's house rent free (of course, they both moved in at Danny's invitation to help him raise DJ, Stephanie and Michelle)- but I'm sure they must contribute somewhere financially too for the grocery bills and other expenses. |

While I don't know what happened to the advertising company Jesse and Joey had together "Double J Creative Services", don't forget Jesse ended up as the owner of The Smash Club in Season 7 and before that he and Joey worked together as "The Rush Hour Renegades" on KFLH Rock Radio in Season 6.
