Glenn Martin, DDS is the first television production to come out of Michael Eisner’s Tornante Animation Company. The original stop-motion animated series follows the life of Glenn Martin (Kevin Nealon), who yearns for a change of scenery and a deeper connection with his family. Determined to bring the family closer together, Glenn takes the Martins on a road trip to protest the destruction of a beloved childhood park. As things unravel right from the get-go, the family is forced to make the dental-mobile – replete with a giant decorative toothbrush on the roof – their new home. Glenn, Jackie (Catherine O’Hara) and Courtney (Jackie Clarke) – an 11-year-old future corporate maven who brings along her personal assistant, Wendy (Judy Greer), a 14-year-old North Korean exile – and son, Conor (Peter Oldring), the 13-year-old hormone-addled tween who’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed--quickly learn when hitting the road that the road can sometimes hit back in unexpected ways. The Martins are accompanied on their journey by the family dog, Canine, who’s pronounced buttocks only add to the hilarity.

During "Valentine Schmalentine," Drescher invites viewers into her "boudoir" as she shares her expertise on love, dating, romance and relationships, as well as her favorite clips from the series.

NEW YORK, Jan. 29 -- Nick at Nite celebrates Valentine's Day with The Nanny star Fran Drescher, as she hosts "Valentine Schmalentine," a week-long marathon of back-to-back episodes of The Nanny, airing Monday, Feb. 8 though Sunday, Feb. 14, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. (ET/PT). The Nanny, the hit comedy that originally aired from 1993 to 1999, follows Drescher as Fran Fine, a nasal-voiced, street-wise, working-class woman from Queens who stumbles upon the opportunity to become a nanny for the three rambunctious children of wealthy, widowed Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield. With her warm heart, no-nonsense honesty and off-beat non-traditional nurturing style, Fran turns out to be the best thing that ever happens to the family...whether they realize it or not. With constant pressure from her family to get married, Nanny Fine becomes a relationship expert, and ultimately marries her boss, Mr. Sheffield.

NEW YORK - Feb. 3, 2010 -- Nick at Nite celebrates Presidents’ Day with a visit to the White House in Glenn Martin, DDS’ “Hail to the Teeth,” premiering Monday, Feb. 15, at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), with special guest star Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock) as the voice of Vice President Joe Biden. The series, recently picked up for a second season and nominated for an Annie Award, features an all-star voice cast that includes Kevin Nealon (Weeds, Anger Management) as Glenn Martin, Catherine O’Hara (For Your Consideration, Chicken Little) as Jackie Martin and Judy Greer (27 Dresses, Arrested Development) as Wendy Park. The stop-motion primetime series from Tornante Animation airs regularly Mondays at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).

“Nick at Nite salutes Presidents’ Day with an irreverent take on some of Washington, D.C.’s most recognizable figures,” said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon’s Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming. “The stop-motion versions of President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Dick Cheney are hilarious, and Chris Parnell was perfect for the voice of Vice President Joe Biden.”

In “Hail to the Teeth,” the Martins visit Washington, D.C. for Courtney’s essay contest about the person she most admires. Glenn experiences a crisis of confidence when his daughter chooses to write about Millard Fillmore instead of her father. Things take a turn for the better when President Obama urgently needs a dentist and Glenn comes to the rescue. The President praises Glenn as a prototypical American, elevating Glenn’s status in his daughter’s eyes, until he blows it by upstaging her big moment. Meanwhile, Conor discovers Dick Cheney in the basement of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue plotting to regain control of the White House… with Conor’s help.

Glenn Martin, DDS follows the offbeat adventures of beleaguered dentist, Glenn (Nealon), and his family – earnest yet slightly cynical wife, Jackie (O’Hara); hormone-addled son, Conor (Peter Oldring); power suit-wearing daughter, Courtney (Jackie Clarke); her subservient assistant, Wendy (Greer); and family dog, Canine – who trade in the suburbs for a life on the road. Yearning for a deeper connection with his family, Glenn has packed up the Martins in an RV, which doubles as his dentist office, to go cross-country. They are beset by an array of colorful locals and crazy situations on this journey, taking them to places like Las Vegas, the Amish Country, Atlantic City and Hollywood. The Martins, who put the “fun” in dysfunctional, are a family who loves and can depend on one another, despite all the mayhem.

Year-to-date, Nick at Nite is the number-one ranked cable network in total day among both Adults18-49 and Women18-49. Nick at Nite finished 2009 as basic cable’s number-one network in total day with Women 18-49, averaging a 0.7/415,000 W18-49 and 1.5 million total viewers. Premiere episodes of Glenn Martin, DDS currently average 2.1 million total viewers each week.

Glenn Martin, DDS was developed for Nick at Nite by Michael Eisner, who co-created the series along with Alex Berger and Eric Fogel, who is also an executive producer overseeing animation. Sivert Glarum and Michael Jamin (King of the Hill, Just Shoot Me) serve as executive producers and show runners. The show is produced by Steven Cohen and Noel Bright for Tornante Animation, a division of The Tornante Company LLC.

Wow, Family Matters is certainly back in a big way. Gone completely for a couple months, then back to airing 3 hours a night. Must be doing well in latenight for them.
