In the 9pm hour, Scrubs (up 16% to a 1.4 rating) and Better Off Ted (up 30% to a 1.3 rating) ratings were somewhat less gruesome than in the recent past.

Sounds good but I won't get my hopes up for renewal knowing how fickle the networks can be.

When the number is low to begin with, 30% is a huge jump. It's like saying you have 10 cents and you gained 30% more, you gain almost nothing.
