It would be great if they could start with season 1 and do them in order.

This weekend TV Land welcomes back the original supernatural suburban sorceress with a two day marathon of the best episodes of Bewitched, featuring Samantha using her magic to make life a little easier by teaching bizarre relatives, nosy neighbors and boorish bosses some sorely needed life lessons.

Default I wish WGN in Chicago would keep it on a bit longer...

...even though the first two {black and white} seasons aren't part of their "package", they've always shown the closing credits in full (even if they reduced the picture a little in order to promote their next offering). TV LAND doesn't even care about closing credits anymore; they'll do to "BEWITCHED" what they're doing to their other series these days; flash a tiny list of cast and production credits at the bottom of the screen during the last 20 seconds of the episode's final scene, moving right into the next episode of whatever follows, denying us the right to hear the closing theme in full.

That's one reason why I don't watch TV Land anymore.

well said!!!

I haven't watched TV LAND in so long for that reason; I don't even know what the channel number is on our cable system anymore.

I hate the way ALL cable channels desecrate the credits (and butcher the episodes) - with the exception of the local stations. At least the local channels (at least around the Cleveland area) that broadcast all shows air them uncut - which is more than what I can say for the cable channels.

I noticed that. Just when you think TV Land cant screw up anymore, they surprise you.

Do they air Bewitched uncut up there? I'd find that hard to believe since every episode's about 25+ minutes. Not a lot of time for commercials in a half-hour.....as it should be, but still.

Bewitched hasn't aired locally in the Cleveland area since 2004, but when it did, it was uncut. During the commerical breaks, they would usually air one commerical, like the ones for vitamin supplements, motorized scooters, etc.

At least you were lucky to see those episodes uncut in Cleveland, 'cat'!

Although the exact content has varied over the years in different syndication "pacakges" (including the "DFS Program Exchange" era), SONY Pictures Television usually distributes a 22 minute version of each episode, allowing eight minutes for local/cable commercials. This means, of course, certain scenes have been trimmed, or omitted althogether. If you're fortunate enough to have the DVD box sets of each episode, you can compare how much is missing for yourself...
