Unsolved cases (wanted)

If you could see one case that is still unsolved.......be solved. what would it be?? or if you could find one fugutive, whether they are known by name or not, what would it be? I just scanned through the UM website and I am still amazed to see some of the cases that were never solved.

the connecticut point blank shooting always gets me. ih 70 killer, and lake lewisville boating accident hit close to home for me. where did the IH70 serial killer's texas murders take place? and did the glen rose rapists on the brazos river ever get caught? man there are so many cases still yet to be solved.

One in in Fort Worth, the other in Arlington. The victim in the former was Mary Ann Glasscock, killed in an antiques store on September 25, 1993; the victim in the latter was Amy Vess, killed at a dancewear shop on November 1, 1993. They were 51 and 22 years old, respectively.

Very true. But I have learned that it's not always because the cops don't know the identity of the perpetrator or perpetrators. Sometimes, they actually know who it is, but don't have enough evidence to make an arrest.

Wasn't the clearance on the murders, unsolved, missing persons above 50%?

Offhand I would say that the majority of criminal cases on UM where closed by law enforcement. No?

If anything, law enforcement generally plays a significant role in closing criminal cases. Countless cases featured on the show have been resolved with the help of the viewers. But UM also had its share of cases whose resolutions didn't directly result from the show or any of its viewers. In those particular cases, it was usually due to further police investigation, although there may be other factors involved.

I don't know if this dispels any confusion on your part, but it's the best answer I can think of.

Virgin Island voodoo case. It really turns me down how the daughter was heartbroken over her parent's death and clamoring for it to be solved or there wouldn't be justice in the world. Sadly I really doubt it will ever be solved.

This is one case that I had forgotten about for years until reading something about it on this board, then I remembered the segment and how tragic it was.

I lived in arlington, tx then how freaky because i remember watching that segment and fearing for my life.
