Default National Enquirer article on Barbara Billingsley

Hi guys-

I found a National Enquirer article on Barbara Billingsley and it makes it seem like, the 94 year old doesn't have much more time. Hope it isn't true.

I hope not either. I enjoyed her on "Leave It To Beaver".

Cool

Well the National Enquirer does like to sensationalize things. On the other hand Barbara is 94 years old so it isn't unreasonable to think she may be near the end of her life. Either way I wish her all the best.

Hate to say it, but if the Enquirer has a record for accuracy in anything, it's that when they someone's number is up . . . it's soon up.

When it comes to trashing celebs, then I usually roll my eyes to these "rag mags", but just as someone else mentioned, it's not exactly unreasonable giving her age and I did hear that she wasn't exactly doing too well last year when I called her son's restuarant to get a letter forwarded to her (I didn't get an address....btw), but the manage was nice enough to give me an update of what he knew. I couldn't find her mailing address so I thought about faxing over a letter for Drew Billingsley to give to her, but he doesn't visit on a regular basis and he couldn't guarentee he would get the letter, so I gave up. The last I knew she was so frail she was wheel chair bound.

God Bless her! I love this woman.

i don't belive it. they said the same thing about kathartine hepburn in 1996 she had the flu i believe and they blew the whole thing out of porpotion i remember the headline "kate dying" it also said she said "don't be sad i'mm going to join spencer". sure enough she died in 2003 from a tumor in her neck. i found this out from her friend's book remembering kate.

Yeah, I saw that article when I was at the librar...I mean Target's magazine rack. Even though she's as old as she is, I still felt really saddened by reading "June" could possibly be gone soon. If it is soon, well...She will be leaving behind a great legacy, having played a mom everyone (in their right minds) probably wishes they had grown up with.

It says the boys called her last December, which was 8 months ago, and the old girl is still kicking!
