In what easily ranks as this week’s most exciting piece of casting news, Cougar Town has tapped Beverly D’Angelo to guest star as the white trash mom of Busy Phillips’ Laurie, sources confirm to me exclusively. The National Lampoon vet shoots her episode next week, which means it’ll probably air in February. Not soon enough as far as I’m concerned!
