The Middle Renewed For Season 2!!!! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

At this morning’s TCA session, ABC Entertainment president Steve McPherson said he was renewing ABC’s freshman comedies Modern Family, The Middle and Cougar Town so all three will get a second season.

The Middle goes from “in some danger of cancellation by May” in our Renew/Cancel Index to…renewed.

This is great news. I saw some of this show for the first time this past Wednesday night. I though it was pretty funny.

Oh, okay. It's the only new show I've liked this year. I'm not wild about it, though.
