Possible Information on Still-Lost "The Turkey" Skit
Awhile back on Ebay I had seen a dealer selling a DVD of an industrial film for Buick that featured the Honeymooners cast. While doing some research to see if I could find it, I came across the Harry Crane Collection listings at UCLA. Included in the collection are many of his papers and scripts, and I was looking at his Honeymooners/Gleason listings and saw this, cut and pasted below:
Box 109, Folder 19 Turkey (The) (Thinks Turkey Swallowed Ring) - script material No date It is brief, and not much information, but it could be a good description of what this still-lost episode is about. Also listed was this, under the Honeymooners in Crane's collection: Box 109, Folder 7 Busdrivers' Frolics (Alice Plays the Trombone) - script material No date I wonder what the heck that is all about?!?!?!? I don't recall this episode at all! |
