Default Phyllis Or Sue Ann?

(I accidently posted a thread twice, so I came up with a topic off the top of my head to re-use one of the threads. Anyway...)

Who annoys/gts on your nerves, whatever, more... Phyllis or Sue Ann?
That may be a stupid question, but whatever, it can make conversation, right? lol

I definately have to go with Sue Ann.

I'd say Sue Ann,she was very bitchy to Mary but Betty White's comic ability made her the character you loved to hate.
Phyllis was annoying without trying, she was awful to Rhoda, who gave her it back but she was fond of Mary,Phyllis and Mary were friends,Mary and Sue Ann were work collagues.

Cool

Definitely Phyllis for me. I don't know what Lars ever saw in her.

I think it's a toss-up.

This is like asking whether I would prefer a million dollars worth of gold or a million dollars worth of silver. I can't possibly answer that question, so I will abstain from voting. Both were great characters portrayed by brilliant comedic actors who are larger than life in their own right. Both are in their eighties now and continue to bring laughter -- guffaws -- to the world, no matter what they do. Cloris Leachman's heeeeeelarious appearance at that Bob Saget celebrity roast comes to mind, as does Betty White's Super Bowl ad (with Abe Vigoda) last night for Snickers. Both of these women are living legends and national treasures.

Oh, and can we add this to Cloris Leachman's repertoire (adult language warning)? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXgFYDGSZog

I agree with this, who can choose both characters were great. And both were evil in their own ways lol. It makes for great comedy and these two actresses played these characters wonderfully.

Again, apples and oranges!

I thought this was going to be a Ginger or Mary Anne type question. The answer to both questions, for me, would be Phyllis. Annoying? Yes. But sexy as hell, too.

I agree Betty White is a great actress,Sue-Ann is actually a sad character, yes she bitches at everyone but if you notice whenever she comes to the newsroom,to tell them her latest award, she doesn't have anyone else to tell, she bitches at Mary because she jealous of her.
Sue-Ann is a welcome additon to the cast and I always smile at her "Morning, people!".
