Has anyone named their car? I know someone who named their car Wilma and another one Barney (from the Flintstones).

You mean that 2 ton piece of metal that's putting our mechanic's son through college? I have many names for it, but none of them are printable here, lol.

I had names for two of the vehicles i owned.
I once owned a beat up 1979 Chevy pickup that I named "The Big 10" basically because it had a sticker on the side that said "Big 10." I guess that was the name of that particular model of truck. Anyway, the name caught on, and eventually all my friends referred to it as "The Big 10." The last car i owned was a 1996 Volkswagen Golf GL that I loved loved loved! I called it my "shuttlecraft" because it was small and boxy like the shuttlecraft they used on Star Trek. Yeah, I'm a geek.

Sally. I've always wanted a Mustang, so I could call it Mustang Sally, but I'm blessed with a Chevrolet Cavalier, so I just call her Sally

One of my four cars does have a name.
The '66 Plymouth Fury VIP was named "Pauline" by its former owner and I decided to keep that name. I never did bother naming my three other cars... '69 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, '76 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine and '95 Lincoln Town Car. |

We used to have a really old Buick Century that we called B.C. My mom got a Chevy Malibu last year and I named her Barbie, as in Malibu Barbie. My cousins had a car named Millie.

I don't really have a name for my car, but sometimes I call him "Otter". My husband calls his car "The Turtle". I asked him why and he said because of the color. It's actually teal blue but it's a cute name for a car. He said the next car he gets will be called wombat.
