Actually, Inga was 46. The show started in September, 1979, and Inga did not turn 47 until December, 1979. She was born on December 29, 1932.

First time I saw Inga was as Maude Hazard in *North and South*.
She looks so wonderful in this gorgeous dresses!!! ![]() The show is one of my all-time-favorites. Robert was also in the show. I would love to re-watch it....must get the DVD.I love TV-series with historical background.

The DVD collection is available on Amazon. Although I don't recall watching the series back in the day, I may have to Czech
it out seeing that "Gone With the Wind" is one of my all time favorite movies.Yes, Inga does look radiant in one of those spectacularly expensive mid-nineteenth century dresses. Though it's funny, the photo actually makes me think of the fact that like most folks back then, my ancestors were probably making their clothing out of used flour sacks.

It may seems a bit funny for us to imagine that they made their clothings of flour sacks, but we should not forget what hard times they lived in the 19th century. The only thing I know of my ancesters is that their mattresses in their beds were made of hay (and full of fleas!). Historical Hollywood-movies are sometimes not very authentic, but for me that is okay. It's fictional and I love to see gorgeous and colorful costumes like those Inga wears in *North and South* And I too looooooove the costumes in GWTW!!!!!!!!! The scene when Scarlett wore this wonderful dress made of the green velvet curtain is just awwwww.... But, look, I found another great photo of Inga... ![]() Isn't that beautiful!!! She is not just a beauty. She's a hotty!
