Cool Your 2010 Predictions

I love this annual thread!!

I predict Kate Gosselin will become a permanent host on The View. ()

I predict the Balloon Boy's parents are going to concoct yet another stupid stunt and still get to keep their kids.

I predict Sandra Bullock will win her first Oscar for The Blind Side.

I predict Solomon will keep complaining about pro sports, fast food, etc. and keep everyone in stitches.

I predict all of us unemployed SO'ers won't give up!!

I predict Lady Gaga will continue to find ways to annoy the Hell out of decent, normal, hardworking Americans.

I predict Sandra Bullock will sweep the Razzie Awards for All About Steve. Yes Sandra, we know you're praying The Blind Side will make the world forget all about that stinker, but we won't.

I predict hacky unfunny comedians/pundits/comedians turned pundits/comedians turned pundits with their own cable talk shows will continue to make fun of Sarah Palin instead of - oh, i don't know, finding something new to talk about.

I predict (instert celebrity name here) will be photographed coming out of a Starbucks. Seriously, have the paparazzi got nothing better to do?

I predict Tim Robbins will find some way to blame his breakup with Susan Sarandon on the Bush Administration.

I predict Heidi Klum will have at least three more kids this year. One will be born while she's walking down a catwalk on an episode of Project Runway.

I predict the people of the world will rise up and finally declare "Okay, enough with Desperate Housewives."

That's all I have.

Thumbs up

This is fun, fun, fun.

I foresee Lindsay Lohan soon to go back to rehab.

I forsee someone will try to assasinate president Obama. His wife and children will not be around but he must be careful.

I feel that John Travolta must stop flying his planes. He must be careful.

There is someone who is trying to harm Janet Jackson and La Toya Jackson. They must thread carefully.

I predict Kate Gosselin will fail in her attempts to make it as a star. She must stay home with her children.

I predict Jon Gosselin will be robbed again this time at gunpoint.

I predict Kim Kardashian should not get married in the foreseeable future. Her marriage will not work.

I see in the future a new animal. It seems it is half man/half snake.

More to come..................

Tom, you never cease to crack me up!! I love the Starbucks one - so true!!! Besides, I would not be surprised if the Tim Robbins one turns out to be true. Keep them coming!!

I predict people all over the world will destroy their Ipods, and get turntables, and then the sale of records will skyrocked beyond anyone's prediction.

I predict that Kate Hudson will go back with Owen Wilson for 100,00th time only long enough to snag Derek Jeter.

Tiger Woods still won't keep his peter in his pants.

We all still won't be able to get over Michael Jackson.

Suzanne Somers' cancer comes back and has to eat her words. (I hope that doesn't happen but wouldn't it be interesting???)

I predict...

Billy Gahram, Mickey Rooney, and Jimmy Carter may be knocking on death's door.

I'll still have no car, girlfriend, nor better job.

Cleveland will not...I Repeat...Will not...win a Championship.

Reality Shows will die.

Republicans will come and balance things in the White House.

Summer will be hot where I live.

I predict if there is one more wet summer and winter in the Midwest the entire region will be renamed "New Atlantis" and I'll be renting out my poor, beleaguered basement as a swimming pool.

I predict that Sarah Palin will NOT pose for any cheesecake photos to the utter dismay of Republican (and silent but secretly envious Democrat) males everywhere.

I predict (but certainly not hope) that the economy will once again dip into recession.

I predict that in the absence of any other Tv shows to remake (all of them having already been done), the following theatrical films will be greenlit: "My Mother, the Car:2010", "Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Next Generation", "Small Wonder: A New Beginning", and most feared of all, the Sid and Marty Krofft financed "Lidsville" reboot, with Adam Samberg as Mark, Andy Dick as Hoodoo and a special appearance by Kristen Wiig as Witchiepoo.

I predict that due to the increased emphasis on electronic communication (cell phones, message boards, instant messaging, Facebook, etc.) some people will actually forget how to use their voicebox, resulting in an entirely new medical field called "Verbology", created to reinstruct people on how to simply talk to one another.

I predict that the ghost of Nostradamus will appear in the middle of Time Square at midnight on January 1, 2011, demanding an audience with the programming executives at the History Channel during which he will exhort them to "cool it with the interpretations of my predictions" and a confession that he was "drunk half the time he made them, and making up stuff the other half".

I predict the newest reality show trend will be making a reality show about the making of a reality show.

I predict that while the Hadron Collider will not reveal any unknown secrets of the origin of the universe, it will locate every sock, contact lens, key and remote control lost since 1978.

Here are mine:

The Republican party will get back to their conservative roots and sweep the majority in the house and senate away from the Democrats, just like in 1994.

Tiger Woods will retire from golf out of embarrassment.

NBC will fold.

I predict that Charlie Sheen will serve no jail time and will get just a slap on the wrist (probation) for his supposed assault on his wife.

I predict that Sony will STILL keep us fans hanging on when it comes to subsequent season releases of Barney Miller, Benson, Facts of Life, The Jeffersons, etc.

I predict that Miley Cyrus will find herself in yet another photo scandal.
