Sorry Fans, Mr. T Will Not Appear In The A-Team Remake - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I like to go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Sometimes 5 if my schedule allows it or I manage to get out of bed and find the motivation to put my gym clothes on (the hardest part about going to the gym is going to the gym). Since I live in La-La Land sometimes I usually see celebrities there. Nothing new, I've talked about it before. I've seen Zac Efron, Neil Patrick Harris, Michael Jai White a million times, Jamie Pressly, etc. etc. It's no big deal, they just go about their business. One celeb I've seen a few times is Mr. T, who is one of the nicest guys you'll ever talk to. Very humble, but 100% T.

I said hello to him today and asked him if he was going to appear in the A-Team remake. I was hoping he was going to say yes, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

He said it wasn't about money, because he turned down the chance to appear in the film before that was even discussed. He said it just wouldn't be right for him to be in it. If his B.A. isn't the main guy, then why do it? What's wrong with the film that they need him to make a cameo? Plus they would market the film with him being in it, and he didn't want his friends and family to think he would have some big role when he wouldn't. He told me he has nothing against the cast or even the fact that they're doing a remake. But a cameo is just something he wasn't interested in. He said he's very happy with his life right now and enjoys giving back to the community.

He talked more about his career and how Sly saw him in Toughman and how that led to Rocky III and how Rocky led to him being in the A-Team. He was a really great guy, talking to everyone and shaking everyone's hands. I talk to celebs for a living but Mr. T is one of those guys you could have a discussion with for hours. One of the true nice guys in the business today.

Sorry fans! I'm disappointed as well. Was hoping to see the original B.A. throw some punk through a sugar glass window one last time.
