Universal Season and Complete Box Sets at Big Lots - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Stopped at Big Lots earlier today and found the following:

Charles in Charge 1st season - $8
Simon and Simon 1st season - $8
Law and Order Criminal Intent 1st season - $8
McCloud Seasons 1&2 - $8
McMillan and Wife 1st season - $8
The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Collection - $8
The Bionic Woman (Volume 1 - 5 Hours) - $8
Gimme a Break - 1st season - $4
Kate and Allie - 1st season - $4
Grosse Pointe - Complete series - $3
The Mummy (animated series) Volumes 1-2-3 - $4

This represents only one location, I'll be hitting my local store tomorrow to see what they have.

Thanks for the info. Out of the titles mentioned, the only one I would buy would be Simon & Simon.

The only ones I bought today were Grosse Pointe and McCloud.

my big lots n pa pennsylvania does not have them it sucks il just ordor them online anyway better then going out in the cold

I checked my local store and the manager told me that they had their stock in but it wouldn't go on the floor until this week when the new ad was published. He said some stores choose to put them out immediately and other stores will wait. The new ads are published on Tuesday so I suggest you wait until about Wednesday or so and check again.

Checked another store today and in addition to the titles previously mentioned I found the following:

Sliders (4th season $8)
Fear Factor (1st season $4)
Real Housewives of Orange County (1st season $4)
Surface (complete series -$8)
Several Best of SNL ($4)

i coudn't find any sitcoms at big lots. they had night court one ofthe dics was gone. i had it on dvd any way . they must of sold out or didn't get in any.

Check again later this week, Some stores may not have gotten their shipments in yet. They should be advertised in this week's circular so most likely they'll be on the shelves by Wednesday. From what I've seen so far, The most plentiful are Charles in Charge, Kate and Allie, Gimme a Break, Real Housewives of Orange County, Law & Order Criminal Intent, Simon and Simon and the Best of SNL.

The following appear to be in short supply: McCloud, McMillan and Wife, Sliders, Fear Factor and The Incredible Hulk.

Would love to find Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Night Gallery, Voyagers and a few others.

I do no retail shopping whatsoever so I had to look up this store and suprisingly they actually have a location about a half hour away from me. I would pick up Kolchak and Night Gallery if they have them cheap.

i just got back from big lots and got

charles in charge season one

simon n simon season one

Incredible Hulk ultimiate collection 6 disk set

and Miclillian and wife n mcload for my mom cost me 40 some bucks but it worth it

Be sure to save your receipt! I just opened the McCloud set and disc one has several scuffs on it.

I'll probably take it back and trade for another if it gives me any problems. This is one reason why I despise dual side discs.
