I just cant imagine a 20 year old girl getting 8 grammy nods, entertainer of the year
Is the talent pool that shallow? I wonder how she would have fared in the 1960s and 70s |

I don't think Taylor Swift is great but I think she is ok. She's more talented as a songwriter than singer in my opinion. I saw her perform live back in 2007 when she was an opening act for Brad Paisley and she only sounded great the song Teardrops On My Guitar. Her vocals on other songs were pretty weak.

i like Taylor Swift a lot but her vocals are average at best. her songwriting is great though for someone who's barely 20 years old. i think once she matures she could be a really exceptional songwriter...most of her songs now are about teenage problems because of her age/the demographic she's trying to reach out to but even in those you can see she's a really good songwriter. also she connects to the songs she sings very well.
