Default My own TV Merrython during Blizzard 2009

With over 200 Christmas themed episodes in my collection, I like to spend a few weekends watching them in marathon form each year....well this past weekend while the metro area (and many more of you) was stuck in doors during the Blizzard of 2009, I decided this was the perfect day for my own Merrython.....my collection is quite eclectic, so that is the way I programmed my day....

Saturday, December 19, 2009
7:30AM That Girl- Christmas & The Hard Luck Kid"
8:00AM Mary Tyler Moore- Christmas & The Hard Luck Kid (Yes they both had the same titles)
8:30AM Gilligan's Island- Birds gotta fly, fish have to swim (something like that, it was a first season christmas ep)
10:00AM Saved By The Bell- Home For Christmas
11:00AM Window On Main Street- (Robert Young) a premiere for me
11:30AM Family Ties- Alex acts like scrooge, forgot title
12:00PM My Two Dads- forgot title a premiere for me
12:30PM Blossom- forgot title a premiere for me
1:00PM Yule log lunch time!
1:30PM Father Knows Best- The Angel's Sweater
2:00PM The Donna Reed Show- forgot title

then had to do some chores, etc....

10:00PM Miracle on 34th Street. rare 1974 Sabastian Cabot version live off FXM cable channel

The following morning, I wanted to continue but only could get in
9:30PM The Lucy Show- Together For Christmas in Vintage mode on DVD

tomorrow I'm off, so I will try and squeeze in some must annual watches like.....

The Brady Bunch
The Andy Griffith Show
Bewitched Vision of sugar plums
A few "Lassies"
Happy Days, First season ep
A Few Alice episodes
A few Ozzie & Harriets
A few Dennis The Menace

So many episodes, so little time.......Happy Holidays to All!

PS.....Could someone tell me what a channel called TV Land is????? It is supposed to show classic episodes like what I just decribed...I vaguely remember watching many of these on a channel called that a few years back, but now I only see movies and something called extreme makeover? TONGUE FIRMLY PLANTED IN CHEEK!

TeeVee--Do you have the Jack Benny Christmas Show w/Mel Blanc, boy that was a goody--I wonder how it would go over today what with the tragedy at the end?

Do you have Captain and Tennille Christmas Show--it was so wonderful and colorful. The Sonny and Cher Christmas Shows were good also.

I remember watching the Sonny and Cher show with guest William Conrad, he was dressed as Santa, no padding needed LOL.

Taxi-season 1 episode
Adam 12- episode season 1
The Donna Reed Show-season 1 episode

Good Times-season2,5 and 6 episodes
What's Happening-season 1 and 3 episodes
I also have the following:

A Charlie Brown Christmas and the animated The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

I just have a single dvd player so what I did was gather all my Christmas episodes in a binder and change them after every episode. It was pretty easy really. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
