My favorite is the Easter Beagle. It has such beautiful music! Second would be the Thanksgiving one.

OMG, the other night I was watching "I Want a Dog for Christmas" and at one point I laughed so hard I had tears streaming down my face! Rerun was building something with blocks and Lucy comes over and says "What would you do if I knocked that over?" Rerun says "Probably nothing at the moment but after you're married and you and your husband want me to co-sign on a loan, I'll refuse!" I probably have the words wrong, but I was

when I heard that!

Growing up, I loved all of the holiday ones except the Christmas ones. I say that because my brother would bawl from the very beginning. The singing made him sad. He tolerates better now but I can't listen to the singing without thinking of how he used to cry through the whole thing.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" (which debuted on Dec. 9, 1965), the very first
Peanuts TV show, is certainly a classic ... and almost never got on the
air. When it was previewed by the CBS brass, they were apprehensive. They
were bothered by several things: the show's leisurely pace (compared to
standard Saturday morning cartoons and prime-time series like The Flintstones), the religious message, and the amateur voices (supplied by
real children). But they took a chance on it anyway, and it was an immediate
critical and popular success, receiving a whopping 45 share (meaning half the
TV sets were tuned in) and went on to win both a Peabody Award and an
Emmy Award. Even good ol' Charlie Brown is a winner sometimes!
