Unfortunately, I believe the husband killer her and dumped her body in the campground somewhere.

It reminds me of any number of cases, including this one, http://www.spokesmanreview.com/tools...f.asp?ID=65783 where the boy's father tried to make it look as if the boy had set the house on fire, then run away. One of the main clues in the case was vomit.

This article doesn't go into details, but the boy's body was dumped into a ditch about to be filled by snowplows and was discovered only by an absolute fluke. The man operating the snowplow felt his jacket was uncomfortable, stopped the plow, and stood up to adjust his jacket. The boy's body was visible only from this standing position, and at this exact spot. Had the man remained seated and plowing the body would have been covered until spring and the evidence lost.
