DALLAS, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Chris Wyatt, CEO and President of ComStar Media today announced the acquisition of FamilyNet Television and FamilyNet Radio. The parent company of AmericanLife Television Network, ComStar Media will now extend its reach to 50 Million households.
FamilyNet thrives as one of the nation's leading family entertainment networks dedicated to quality "made for families" television, delivering award-winning classic family sitcoms, children's favorites, must-see originals, action series, classic movies, reality shows, and sports and lifestyle series.

Among the assets acquired by ComStar Media include FamilyNet Television's 26 million television households and FamilyNet Radio's 11 million subscribers (through SIRIUS Satellite Radio). The acquisition of FamilyNet Television will provide access to a diverse library of classic programming such as EmmyA and Golden GlobeA award- winning classic family sitcoms "Happy Days" and "My Three Sons."

The acquisition also includes a multi million dollar original production library with programs such as "Judie Byrd's Kitchen," "The Wacky World of Bruce Barry," and "Aqua Kids." The addition of FamilyNet Radio will provide access to some of the most popular syndicated radio programs including "Focus on the Family," "In Touch With Dr. Charles Stanley," and "The Dave Ramsey Show."
