Hey, did you hear Brandy (yes, “The Boy is Mine” Brandy) changed her name to Bran’Nu? Well … she did! First Mariah Carey became MiMi, then Beyonce became Sasha Fierce, then J.Lo became Lola. And NOW Brandy has officially introduced her rap alter-ego “Bran’Nu.”

The songstress came out at Timbaland’s Shock Value II album release party at Liv in Miami on Dec. 5. Nicky Hilton and Brandon Davis also showed up to the party, which was hosted by Verizon Wireless and BlackBerry, where Timbaland performed with Bran’Nu. One party goer even admits, “I was impressed by her rapping skills!”

Brandy, who has fallen off the music map in recent years, recorded two songs on the album, which is scheduled for release next year.
