Have any of you ever known anyone featured in the segments? It could be a missing person, a criminal, just anybody involved.
Also, which segment(s) stick out the most in your mind? One's that you still think about, or have just affected you in some way. |

1) The 1987 disappearance of a Pennsylvania factory worker. Some of the platinum that had been stored at the factory was swiped by a masked man, but one must wonder whether the factory worker was the masked man's accomplice or a victim of foul play. 2) An Indiana man who was supposedly found dead twice! Both times were in fire incidents that took place ten years apart (1970 and 1980). His wife died in the second fire. Many believed the man faked his death in the first fire to resolve a financial problem. 3) The Green River Killer. Unsolved Mysteries ran a story on the GR murders in 1996. Included was an interview with a man who believes his late stepbrother to have been the Green River killer. (The killings took place in Washington state in the early '80s.) 4) The death of Kurt Cobain. I never expected the show to do a feature on Cobain, but I wasn't surprised either. Those who saw the 1997 segment will recall that it reveals evidence suggesting that Cobain might have been murdered. |
